Enhanced Inclusion and Learning Support Provision

Supporting Every Child to Thrive

At Brooke House College Riyadh, we recognise that every child is unique and that some students may require additional support to achieve their full potential. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a, nurturing, and high-quality educational experience, we are enhancing our Special Educational Needs and Learning Support provision for the 2026–2027 academic year and thereafter.

Strengthening Our Team

We are delighted to be strengthening our team through the appointment of experienced inclusion professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in supporting students with a range of additional learning needs.

Our enhanced provision will be led by a dedicated Inclusion Lead who will work closely with students, teachers, parents, and external specialists to ensure that appropriate support, intervention, and monitoring are in place where required.

Inclusion is the Responsibility of Every Member of Staff

As such, we are investing in the professional development of our entire team, including teaching assistants and support staff. Throughout the coming academic year, staff will receive ongoing training and development in areas such as:

Early Identification

Early identification of learning needs.

Neurodiverse Learners

Supporting neurodiverse learners.

Literacy & Numeracy

Literacy and numeracy intervention strategies.

Inclusive Classrooms

Inclusive classroom practices.

Social & Emotional Support

Social, emotional, and behavioural support.

Adaptive Teaching

Effective differentiation and adaptive teaching.

Where Appropriate, Students May Benefit From

Our aim is always to support students in becoming confident, independent learners who can access and enjoy the full school experience.

A Considered, Individual Approach

Whilst we are committed to supporting a wide range of learning needs, it is important to note that Brooke House College Riyadh is not a specialist provision.

Admission to our enhanced inclusion programme is therefore subject to the school’s admissions procedures, assessments, and review processes. All applications involving additional learning needs will be considered on an individual basis to determine whether the school can reasonably meet the student’s needs within our available resources and provision.

This careful approach ensures that students are placed in an environment where they can be successful and receive the support they need.

As part of this process, parents may be asked to provide:

Previous school reports

Specialist assessments or diagnostic reports

Educational psychologist reports (where applicable)

Medical information relevant to learning

Permission for the school to undertake its own assessments and observations

Working Together, Every Step of the Way

We believe that the most effective support is achieved through strong collaboration between home and school. Parents will be actively involved in discussions regarding support strategies, targets, progress, and next steps.

Together, we will work to ensure that every child is known, valued, supported, and challenged to achieve their personal best.
