Pre-Kindergarten Summer Provision

At Brooke House College Riyadh, our Pre-Kindergarten provision continues throughout the summer, giving young learners a warm, safe, and stimulating environment in which to play, explore, and grow.

Running from Sunday, 5 July to Thursday, 13 August, the programme offers a balanced early years experience with language-rich activities, storytelling, creative arts, physical development, outdoor learning, and opportunities to build independence and confidence. Children will be supported by qualified early years practitioners in dedicated Pre-K classrooms and outdoor learning spaces.

The programme runs from 7:35 AM to 2:10 PM, with extended hours subject to demand.

A Typical Day in Our Summer Nursery Provision

Our summer Nursery provision follows a calm, structured daily routine designed to help young children feel secure, confident, and engaged throughout the day.

 

Children enjoy a balance of free play, guided learning, outdoor exploration, creative activities, stories, songs, sensory play, rest time, and opportunities to develop independence and social skills.

 

Each day includes circle time, indoor and outdoor play, healthy snack and lunch routines, storytelling, arts and crafts, sensory exploration, nursery rhymes, and quiet time.

 

Children also have access to continuous provision areas throughout the day, including role play, construction, early mark-making, maths, reading, investigation, and creative workshop spaces.

 

The daily routine may be adjusted depending on the needs of the children and the flow of the school day.

    Summer Nursery Fees
    • Full-Day Weekly Programme: SAR 1,100 per child per week
    • 4-Week Programme: SAR 3,900 per child
    • 6-Week Programme: SAR 5,700 per child
    • 7:35 AM – 8:00 AM: Arrival and free play
    • 8:00 AM – 8:20 AM: Circle time, songs, feelings and morning welcome
    • 8:20 AM – 9:10 AM: Indoor play, themed activities, independence routines and handwashing
    • 9:10 AM – 9:30 AM: Healthy snack time
    • 9:30 AM – 9:50 AM: Outdoor play and gross motor development
    • 9:50 AM – 10:30 AM: Storytime, arts and crafts
    • 10:45 AM – 11:15 AM: Lunch
    • 11:15 AM – 11:45 AM: Quiet time / nap time
    • 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM: Sensory play
    • 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Free-flow learning, songs and nursery rhymes
    • 1:30 PM – 2:10 PM: Free play, goodbye song and end-of-day routine
